Deborah Kaplan [Deborah’s Blog]
When Deborah isn’t working as the digital resources archivist at Tufts or teaching science fiction and fantasy to grad students at Simmons College, she spends most of her time working to hide her secret identity. In her time as a superhero, she has gotten into heated brawls over ableism and feminism, and also kicked a tiger in the face, just to prove that she could. I’m pretty sure she’s going to regret letting me write her bio.
Jennifer Cary Diers [Be Not Simply Good]
My bachelor’s degree is from the University of Nebraska, where I studied Theatre and English. I enjoy cooking, Joss Whedon television, drawing maps of fake countries, and reading. My husband, Casey, has never read my YA novel or my three completed screenplays; he is “not a reader” but I assure you he has many fine qualities. We live happily in Chicago with our feline children, Catherine and Henry.
